Abstract:
:To help others succeed in getting their work published, the authors share findings from a survey of 83 journal editors. The main reasons cited by editors for rejecting manuscripts are discussed. Facts about journal foci, acceptance rates, time from submission to acceptance, time lag between final copy submission and publication, preferred editorial styles, web site addresses, and e-mail submissions are included in the tables. The primary steps from writing to publication are also reviewed.
