Transplanted cultured cells from pregnancy-dependent mammary tumors have a heterogenous developmental potential.

Abstract:

:Cultured cells derived from pregnancy-dependent mouse mammary tumors (plaques) when transplanted into the gland-free mammary fat pad display a heterogeneous developmental potential. They not only gave rise to plaques but also produced normal mammary gland, hyperplastic alvoelar nodules (HAN), and autonomous mammary tumors.
