Easing the transition: a successful new graduate program.

Abstract:

:The shortage of registered nurses is expected to grow. Nursing administrators struggle to recruit and retain nurses for these vacancies. This article explores the components of a successful new graduate program. This program serves as the foundation of succession planning for this organization. Improvements that have been made to the program and lessons learned are described.
