Abstract：
:Adverse health effects of aluminium (Al), especially its possible role in aetiology of some human neurodegenerative disorders, e.g. dialysis encephalopathy syndrome, Alzheimer disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis of Guam, dementia, are presented. The influence of Al on brain protein synthesis is discussed. The author pays attention to the health risk connected with growing amount of Al in our ecosystem.
