Inhibition of the mitotic response in regenerating mouse liver during viral hepatitis.

Abstract:

:Viral hepatitis caused by infection with murine hepatitis virus strain A59 has been shown to affect the mitotic response after partial hepatectomy in mice. Normal mice showed a delayed response, whereas nude mice did not show any response, even 5 days after partial hepatectomy.
