Lung metabolism of xenobiotic compounds.

Abstract:

:Many different therapeutic compounds are associated with pulmonary toxicity. Although the mechanism of injury for many of these compounds is poorly defined, several compounds are believed to produce alterations in normal lung biochemistry. These mechanisms of injury in both clinical and experimental models are discussed.
