Benign prostatic hyperplasia: symptoms and objective interpretation.

Abstract:

:Considerable new knowledge about benign prostatic hyperplasia has been gained over the past two decades, particularly with regard to its natural history, hydrodynamic changes in the lower urinary tract, and the symptomatic and urodynamic results of treatment. A survey of the literature has been undertaken with special attention to the results of interventional studies and suggestions for future research.
