Teaching by hospitalist physicians: a practical approach.

Abstract:

:This article discusses an approach to the teaching of residents and medical students by hospitalist physicians on a general pediatric unit. It focuses on three basic principles of teaching and describes how these can be operationalized in a practical way. If this approach is followed, hospitalist physicians can be more effective teachers.
