The influence of immunosuppressors on rosette forming cells.

Abstract:

:The influence of antibiotics and purine and pyrimidine analogues on cells forming rosettes EA and EAC was evaluated in vitro. At the same time pH of solutions of examined immunosuppressors was estimated and a series of experiments with a buffer of appropriate pH was carried out. It was estimated that the effect inhibiting rosette formation was partly non-specific and depended only on pH changes of the medium. The whole effect of mitomycin C, azaadenine and bromouracil is based on the change of concentration of hydrogen ions in the medium.
