Endoscopic evaluation of the patient with head and neck cancer.

Abstract:

:Endoscopic evaluation of the patient with head and neck cancer is important in the precise diagnosis and staging of the disease, as well as in ruling out synchronous disease. Various types of instruments and techniques may be employed in this evaluation. Endoscopic surgery for malignant disease may play a role in the treatment of selected lesions.
