Abstract:
:Posterolateral rotatory instability of the elbow may be a cause of significant impairment of daily activities. The diagnosis is a clinical one, based on the history and physical examination. Imaging studies are often inconclusive because of the variable anatomy of the radio-ulnohumeral ligamentous complex. Surgical reconstruction by either open or arthroscopic means provides a satisfactory result in most patients.
