The use of iodinated antibody in immunodiffusion analysis to detect yeast nonsense termination fragments.

Abstract:

:A sensitive procedure based on the use of iodinated antibody allows the detection of antigenic material by double-diffusion analysis. An autoradiographed immunodiffusion pattern reveals distinct radio-labeled precipitation lines for an extract of yeast with wild type HIS4 protein and for extracts of mutants containing HIS4 nonsense fragments.
