Stress fracture of the femoral neck during rehabilitation after heart transplantation.

Abstract:

:A case is presented of a 60-year-old woman who developed a stress fracture of the femoral neck within 3 months following heart transplantation. This complication was attributed to the introduction of a cardiac rehabilitation program in a patient with risk factors for osteoporosis.
