Treatment of refractory Tourette syndrome with haloperidol decanoate.

Abstract:

:A 23-year-old male with a history of severe Tourette syndrome refractory to treatment with oral haloperidol is reported. The Tourette symptoms remitted after treatment with haloperidol decanoate. The response has been maintained over 18 months.
