Abstract:
:This article provides the rehabilitation team with some tips concerning how to maximize their chances for successful communication with individuals who have aphasia. These ideas can be applied across the range of settings in which health care is provided. The notions described here can increase the effectiveness of interpersonal communication with aphasictalkers, as well as helpto improve the quality of life after aphasia.
