MR imaging of the kidney.

Abstract:

:Magnetic resonance imaging provides superb anatomic detail and greater sensitivity to the detection of most lesions than any other imaging modality. The topics covered in this article include the physical principles of MR imaging and imaging of normal renal anatomy and pathologic renal entities, including pathologic conditions of the renal hilum and renal masses.
