Osteoblastoma of the temporal bone presenting as facial paralysis.

Abstract:

:Osteoblastomas of the head region are rare lesions. This paper describes a case of a 4-year-old child with an osteoblastoma of the temporal bone presenting as a facial paralysis. Only 6 previous cases have been reported and none with nerve involvement. A review of the tumor, its differential diagnosis, clinical course and management is presented.
