Double contrast polycystography: new radiologic procedure.

Abstract:

:To plan the treatment of carcinoma of the bladder correctly accurate knowledge of the morphology and degree of infiltration of the tumor is essential. Double contrast cystography and polycystography are radiologic techniques that can provide such information. Hitherto, these two procedures have been performed separately. Herein is described a new method combining these two investigations. Thus maximum information necessary to plan the treatment of bladder tumors is obtained from a single radiograph. The advantages of this procedure are discussed.
