Abstract:
:Herniated lumbar discs are rare in teh pediatric population. The clinical features,diagnostic modalities, and treatment are discussed in detail.The overall surgical results have been excellent in more than 90% of patients in most series. The differences between children and adults with herniated lumbar discs are emphasized.
