A technique for determining individual fresh weights of live small animals, with special reference to Enchytraeidae.

Abstract:

:A technique is presented in which desiccation as a source of error in fresh weight determinations of soft-bodied microfauna is avoided by weighing the animal in a drop of silica fluid.
