Abstract:
:Healing touch has potential as a complementary therapeutic option for trauma recovery. Healing touch and its predecessor, therapeutic touch, effectively and holistically improve physiologic and psychologic complaints, health perception, and well-being. Support for the incorporation of healing touch therapy in the recovery regime of individuals recuperating from trauma is suggested.
