Autotransplant of omentum to cover large denudation of the scalp. Case report.

Abstract:

:Omentum was transplanted and covered with a split-skin graft, for repair of a denuding injury of the scalp in a 5-year-old girl. With the many successful recent reports of free skin flaps, the indications for omental transplantation have decreased somewhat, but some peculiar situations may require it.
