[Epididymal malacoplakia in a heart transplant recipient: clinico-pathologic study of a case].

Abstract:

OBJECTIVES:An unusual case of malacoplakia is described and the literature reviewed. METHODS/RESULTS:We report on a patient on immunosuppression due to heart transplantation who developed malacoplakia of the epididymis. Patient history and treatment are discussed, with special reference to the differential diagnosis between this condition and tumors.
