Open learning in palliative care.

Abstract:

:Open learning is increasing in importance in nurse education. In this article the author considers open learning and discusses its use in palliative care education. Advantages and disadvantages of this learning method are considered and guidelines are offered to the teacher to assist them to evaluate existing learning packages or to produce their own open learning materials.
