[Lamellar rotation osteotomy of the tibia in children].

Abstract:

:The authors describe the technique and results obtained by a derotation osteotomy of the tibia in children. The method is simple, reliable and does not require internal fixation. It is suitable for dealing with deformity following poliomyelitis, and may also be used to treat tibial torsion which fails to correct with growth in children who are otherwise healthy.
