Imaging of the tumors of the perionychium.

Abstract:

:Despite the high value of clinical examination of the perionychium, radiography remains necessary if one suspects a deep mass beneath the nail plate. Ultrasonography may be helpful in experienced hands to depict cystic or vascular lesions, but MRI offers the most promising developments for imaging the perionychium.
