Abstract:

:Radiolucencies are frequently observed in the carpus, often in asymptomatic patients. Evaluation of the clinical significance of these radiolucent areas is aided by use of bone scanning. In this case, correlation of the physical exam, bone scan and tomograms allowed effective direct surgical treatment of a symptomatic intraosseous ganglion.
