Profile of spine and joint tuberculosis on Pakistan's Afghan frontier.

Abstract:

:Two years individual experience of spine and joint tuberculosis in the North West Frontier of Pakistan is summarised. The problems of treating a population that presents late in the course of the disease, and of coping with an added influx of highly affected Afghans, feature prominently in surgical practice.
