An endoribonuclease activity associated with Lettre Ehrlich ascites tumor cell mitochondria.

Abstract:

:The splicing of 3.36kb mouse mitochondrial mRNA precursor(L-strand) to 69bp RNA component is shown to be mediated by an endoribonuclease activity associated with Lettre Ehrlich ascites tumor cell mitochondria. The enzymic activity was partially purified by column chromatography and the in vitro reconstituted RNA processing assay was performed to document this finding.
