Abstract：
:The different methods of classifying paranasal sinus tumours are summarised. Thirty patients with such tumours seen during the last 2 years were noted. All had had plain films and computed tomography (CT) and 16 conventional tomography. The tumours were staged using Lederman's classification after each investigation to assess any change in staging. CT advanced the staging in 57% of patients, and resulted in larger volumes being treated during radiotherapy. It is suggested that conventional tomography is now rarely necessary if CT is available. Biopsy proof of tumour is still essential before any treatment is commenced.
