Abstract：
:The role of Calcitonin as a secretory inhibition agent in the treatment of acute pancreatitis was studied by a randomized and prospective procedure. The recovery time of the main laboratory findings, the hospitalization duration, the complications and the mortality were not affected by Calcitonin.
