Ventriculovesical shunt. Technical note.

Abstract:

:A patient is reported whose hydrocephalus was controlled by diverting the ventricular cerebrospinal fluid directly into the urinary bladder. This drainage route may have a useful place in the management of the adult pressure-sensitive patient whose more conventional shunt requires frequent revision for repeated obstruction.
