Treatment of T1 and in situ glottic carcinoma: the transoral approach.

Abstract:

:Endoscopic treatment of early carcinoma of the larynx is curative, the cure rates in our experience being equal to those achieved by radiation therapy and by laryngofissure. It is highly cost effective in terms of money and of patient out-of-work time. It can be used repeatedly and does not interfere with future treatments. It is our method of choice.
