Wound healing and chronic wounds.

Abstract:

:A renaissance is taking place in the field of wound healing. Interest in wounds has probably never been so great, and a number of key therapeutic advances in the last 2 or 3 years are only an indication of more progress to come. In large part, we are benefitting from decades of basic research that has provided the knowledge and technical advances for many of today's therapeutic products. In this manuscript, we will provide the initial framework for wound healing and have summarized some key concepts.
