Body MR angiography with gadolinium contrast agents.

Abstract:

:Gadolinium-enhanced MR angiography provides contrast arteriograms without the risks of arterial catheterization or iodinated contrast. Although this technique is in the early stages of development, already it has yielded promising images of large vascular structures without degradation from flow artifacts. As the technique is developed and further optimized, higher resolution and greater arterial detail will become possible.
