Lesions produced by splinters of wood in soft tissues and bone.

Abstract:

:Lesions produced by splinters of wood in the soft tissues and bones of the limbs are not uncommon and may be difficult to diagnose. A detailed history and a high index of suspicion are the key to making the correct diagnosis. Investigations are usually inconclusive. Complete excision results in prompt resolution.
