Abstract:

:Dr. Zhiyuan Gong is Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, National University of Singapore. He graduated with a B.Sc. degree in marine biology from Ocean University of China and received his Ph.D. degree in developmental biology from McGill University in Canada. He spent many years at the University of Toronto and Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto for postdoctoral research in marine biotechnology and transgenic technology before he joined his current university.
