Abstract:
:Synthetic and semisynthetic fabrics generate electrostatic potentials on the surface of the skin. The author suggests that the effects of electrostatic potentials on physical and psychological condition are mediated by acupuncture points. The author further suggests that electrostatic charges on the surface of the skin may affect virtually all physiological functions, mood, and behavior.
