Review of African Political Economy 期刊简介
Review of African Political Economy (ROAPE) provides radical analyses of trends, issues and social processes in Africa, adopting a broadly materialist interpretation of change. Published quarterly by Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group for the ROAPE international collective, it publishes articles, briefings, debates, and book reviews. ROAPE is committed to encouraging high quality research and fostering excellence in the understanding of African political economy. Its contributions are based on politically engaged scholarship and it is not generally looking for econometric analyses. It pays particular attention to the political economy of inequality, exploitation, oppression, and to struggles against them, whether driven by global forces or local ones such as class, race, community and gender. It also welcomes critical research on political economies / ecologies of the environment. It sustains a critical analysis of the nature of power and the state in Africa in the context of capitalist globalisation.
